This series of IBANEZ was somewhat like the "last try" of Mario Macafferri to get back into business of guitarbuilding in the mid to end 1970ies. In collaboration with the luthier master Macafferri the japanese company IBANEZ manufactured these guitars in a small series of maybe 150 Instruments after his 1931 specifications. Not really well done but still great guitars that sound true and authentic.
