Born in 1961 as son of a Sinti-violinist Mito Loeffler started playing music at the age of 10 years with guitar. With his warmth, his virtuosity and his very kind and funny character this great personality entered the hearts of listeners as well as musicians. His sly smile has always been a real proof of that.
Mito released 3 Albums in the past years: "Swing for my friends", "Couleur d´Aumtomne" and in the year 2010 the last Album "Voyages".
Mito Loeffler's playing was always authentically and reflected the character of pure and real true traditional Gypsyjazz.Mito Loeffler died on November 05th 2011 at the age of only 51 years in Alsace. He leaves behind a family of gifted musicians, hoping to keep his heritage alive.
