
His idols are Chick Corea, George Duke, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, George Benson … all musicians that lead and influenced hin over the years.
He started to write and compose very early at age and his Themes are very often nice Ballads and Be-Bop-influenced tunes.
Ludovic has become famous by his colaboration with Angelo Debarre, marking a point of change in his career beeing internationally recognized.

Last but not least by his appereances in the Jazz-Club "BIRDLAND" in New York, one of the high-temples of Jazz.
The american tour were Ludovic used to play with greats of the scene like Dorado Schmitt, James Carter, Paquito D’Rivera and Frank Wess made him worldfamous.
The Album « Swing Rencontre » with master Angelo Debarre is by critics and media considered as one of the best Jazz-Albums of the past years.
The second Album « Come Into My Swing » in Duo with Angelo has been releaesed in August 2003 with "Harmonia Mundi" and a big tour thru different locations and Jazzfestivals as concerts in San Francisco, Chicago, Ann Arbor, Montréal…followed.
In march 2006, he got the great privilege to be part of the concert « MAGIC OF TOOTS » in the Carnegie Hall in NYC together with Toots Thielemans, Herbie Hancock, Eliane Elias, Ivan Lins, Oscar Castro-Neves, Paquito D’Rivera, Joe Lovano, Ari Honig, Scott Colley and Kenny Werner.
Ludovic Beier in 2005 receives the "Grand Prix Gus Viseur", and in 2007 at the awards show of the SACEM he receives the wanted SACAM-Price "Francis Baxter".
In May 2009 a new CD « Django Brasil » re-arranged Standards of Django Reinhardt in brasilian Ryhtms and Style in a Quartett followed. In 2010 another Tournée « Manoir de mes Rêves » together with Angelo Debarre, Stochelo Rosenberg, Dorado Schmitt, Thomas Dutronc… to honour of the 100th birthday of Django Reinhardt.
