
Him and his partner Joseph Babagne Pouville began playing at the "Clarion de Chasseur" around 1960 and they played there for more than 37 years in this Café at the Montmartre in Paris.
Maurice Ferre used to play a very unique style. Even playing on his Favino, he still used to have a more "electrical" approach in his style.
He always played with a Stimerpickup and a Fender Twin-Reverb Amp. He had a bright repertoire of a couple hundret tunes.
The two made just a few records together, as 2 LP´s, but regrettably there are no more copies of them around anymore.
