He soon became recognized as an exceptional talent. And even if Stochelo would have had the chance to sign first contracts with recoring-companys for first records at very young age, he was first hidden by his family a bit afraid from the great "Showbusiness". So he stayed for years at private playing with his Cousins and relatives, practising intensively to become one of the real great Masters of the genre.

Stochelo's almost error-free and melodic playing is beeing mentioned as one of the most brilliant guitarplaying worlwide nowdays.
But he doesn´t like to hear that too much: "Forget about Stochelo and all the rest ..." he says, "... if you really like to learn playing the guitar, start with Django, the best Guitarrist that ever lived".
But it´s not only Stochelo´s playing that lead sayings like these to show his humble personality and beeing just understatement ... also in the Sinti-Community he is beeing recognized and worshipped as one of the legal replacement of the untouchable Icone of Swing Django Reinhardt, if he plays his classics interpreting them virtuosely - even Django´s sister Carmen was driven to tears when he played at the Django Reinhardt Festival in Samois.

But Stochelo is not only a virtuoso but as well a gifted composer like his wonderful compositions "For Sephora" or the dreamy "Rumba Sunset" clearly show. Together with his cousin Nous'che Rosenberg (Rhythmguitar) and his brother Nonnie Rosenberg (Doublebass) he founded internationally highly respected "Rosenberg Trio".
There are only a few to raise up to the "Olymp of guitarrists" but still are able to touch the hearts of musiclovers and musicians all the same with sensitive melodies ... Stochelo is one of them, and that is one of the reasons why the magic of the "Rosenberg Trio" is so unique.
Stochelo has been honoured in 1992 with the "Golden Guitar Award" of the "Guitarist Magazine" and has played in uncountable formations, Bands and Projects Live and in Studio: Dorado Schmitt, Angelo Debarre, Bireli Lagrene's Gipsy Project and his lot of albums together with Romane (which are a "Must-have" for everyone who loves this music).
Stochelo plays on Leo Eimers Guitars and original Selmer-Guitars (of which he onwnes a couple) with 10/45 "Galli Gipsy Strings". (Source: www.rosenberg.eu)
